Around 15,000 vagrants have profited from a task that was propelled multi year back with a view to restoring and reintegrating returnees in Ethiopia. This was uncovered at a consultative discussion composed here today by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, in organization with the (EU) and the (ILO). Aida Awel, Chief Technical Adviser on Labor relocation for the ILO Country Office for Ethiopia, Djibouti, Somalia, Sudan and South Sudan, on the event informed members about the task.

The undertaking that was started in 2015 with five million Euros has profited 15 returnee Ethiopian vagrants in Amhara, Oromia and Tigray provincial states, she said. The returnees were given fundamental abilities and professional expertise preparing programs in the territories of their enthusiasm and dependent on the interest of the nearby market, the counselor said. The undertaking additionally encouraged returnees' entrance to back through linkage with miniaturized scale fund establishments, she said.The venture was propelled through subsidizing from the EU following the repatriation of Ethiopian transient laborers from Saudi Arabia in 2013.
